The antenna has a cut-to-tune tip, which means you'll need to cut the antenna to shorten it when adjusting SWR after installation. Available in 2’, 3’ or 4’ lengths. Choosing Antenna Length
The longer your antenna, the better your CB system will perform. So we recommend using the longest antenna you possibly can! Here are the approximate ranges you'll get with different length fiberglass antennas:
- 2' Long - 2 to 3 miles
- 3' Long - 3 to 4 miles
- 4' Long - 4 to 6 miles
